Casella & Polegato is all about excellent bread and baking. We value tradition and innovation - some of our recipes and techniques are little changed from the time of our great grand-parents and the resulting breads will remind you of days long gone by.  We also like blending the best of the old with the best of the new to make breads with traditional qualities and exciting new flavours and combinations – so some of these will surprise you.  

One thing that we never forget is that it’s the artisanal nature of our products that makes them special. We don’t want to compete with factory-made bread because what we produce is something that only comes from being hands-on and passionate. Having said that you may well be surprised at how reasonably priced our bread is – after all, we don’t have to pay for expensive chemicals and additives!
